Auchingarrich proved a tough and testing area for the first day of Strathearn 2019, as orienteers from around the world enjoyed challenging terrain on a day with sunshine and a light breeze.

The largest event on Scotland’s orienteering calendar has started and you can follow all the action from Strathearn 2019 online, with live video streaming and tracking set to start from midday on Sunday 28 July.

Orienteers from around the world are heading to Strathearn this weekend for the largest event in the Scottish orienteering calendar, as the Strathearn 2019 Scottish 6 Days starts on Sunday 28 July.

The Scottish team for the Ward Junior Home Internationals – which takes place on 12-13^th October in Ireland – has been selected, with the following names set to represent Scotland.

The 2019 JOK Chasing Sprint team of Graeme Ackland (planner) and Jon Cross (the other stuff) have been announced as planners for the Sprint World Orienteering Championships 2022, which is to be held in Edinburgh in July 2022.

The British Team for the 2019 World Orienteering Championships has been announced, and the team includes many faces that will be familiar to Scottish Orienteers.

The 2019 Junior World Orienteering Championships finished in the best possible way last weekend with the girls taking Great Britain’s first ever JWOC gold medal. 

The Scottish team for the Senior Home Internationals – which takes place on 7-8th September in South Wales – has been selected, with the following names set to represent Scotland.

It was another tricky day in the forests of Denmark, but three Scots performed well enough in the Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) middle qualifier to make it into tomorrow’s final.
