Board of Directors
The SOA’s Board of Directors meets roughly every couple of months, alternating between shorter evening online meetings, and Saturday in-person meetings at an accessible central location (typically Dunblane). The Board works collegiately for the benefit of Scottish Orienteering, with its members bringing a range of expertise and interests to the SOA’s strategy. There are also occasional sub-groups for specific areas of work. Each Director serves a term of three years, and can stand for two consecutive terms. An orienteering background and interest is of course an advantage, but nominations of non-orienteers are also welcome where they can contribute useful wider perspectives and experience.
