SOA AGM sees new Chair and Performance Director take their place

The SOA AGM was held online on 22nd September.

Jonathan Molloy of Forth Valley Orienteers was elected as Chair and Andy Kitchin of Interlopers was elected as Performance Director.

In terms of the SOA fees and levies the following proposals were agreed:-
● SOA membership fees are to remain fixed at £12 for adults, £2 for juniors and young adults and £26
for families for 2026.
● SOA levies will increase to £1.25 for adults and £0.50 for juniors for all regional level events and
above.

Johnston Smillie were appointed as the auditors for the year 2025.

There remain vacancies for the positions of Secretary, Events Director and an Independent Director on the Board. (The Board have agreed that it would be appropriate to change the name of Operations Director post to more accurately reflect the role to that of Events Director) If you are aware of anyone who would be interested in filling these positions please get in touch with Nikki Howard nikki@scottish-orienteering.org. We are particularly interested in recruiting individuals for this post who are members of small clubs outwith the central belt given the current club representation on the Board.
