Snowy relays see Scottish podiums
Scottish clubs won four titles, including both Elite races in the 2026 Jan Kjellstrom Relay at Tullochroisk, near Kinloch Rannoch.
It was a big day for the students of Edinburgh University, who hold both Trophies for the first time in their long history at the same time, but not without a serious challenge from fellow-Scots. James Hammond, Charlie Rennie and Euan Tryner captured the big prize for the students, although silver medallists INT (Alistair Masson, Aidan Smith and Luke Fisher) had the quickest times on two of the three legs. EUOC were home in 92.15, with INT a close 2nd (92.49).
The lead was more pronounced in the Women’s Trophy, where Immy Pieters opened up a three second lead on surprise package INT II on the first leg (30.08) but as INT fell off the pace, the sudents ran on, and were brought home by Emma Crawford and Isobel Howard, in 90.20. AROS, with Rachel Brown, Emma Wilson and Niamh Hunter in their lineup, got up late for the silver medal (92.29).

There was a big victory in Senior Men for INT (Oleg Chepelin, Murray Strain and Scott Fraser) in a time of 106.08. as Scott took back six minutes on the closer, and FVO (Will Hensman, Roger Goddard and Andy Llewellyn) were 3rd (113.47). The positions were duplicated in Intermediate Women, which saw a runaway win for INVOC (Hazel Cload, Lily Carter and Cora Comisso) in 60.29, with Highland neighbours MOR (Anna Howard, Julia Ross and Sophie Howard) claiming the bronze in 68.54.
STAG’s Women Short team of Alison Campbell, Sara Josefsson and Rosalind Heron will be delighted with their silver medal in 78.55, and there were three more bronzes for FVO teams, where Hazel Dean, Heather Fellbaum and Alison Cunningham were back in 85.41 in UltraVet, Fraser Cheyne, Lucas Baikie and James Edward were six seconds off the silver in 61.02. and Cathy Tilbrook, Rona Mollloy and Kirsty Bryan-Jones collected the Veteran Women bronze (83.19).
