Scottish Inter Club Championships 2025
This year, having sought feedback again at the end of 2024 , the Scottish Inter Club Championships will again be compiled from a club results of events from twelve events during the year. The events have been selected with a view to those which most clubs will try to attend as a means of encouraging club members to attend the large events and so the majority are either Championship events or national events other than one event in the north and one in the south.
The events selected for 2025 are as follows:-

The Inter Club Championships is divided into two sections – large clubs and small club depending on the number of club members and then there are sections for Seniors and Juniors.
In January, in the Senior section Interlopers (INT) took the lead after the Big Weekend in the Senior Large Clubs with Forth Valley Orienteers (FVO) and Edinburgh Southern Orienteering Club (ESOC) behind and in the Senior Small Clubs it was no surprise that Edinburgh University Orienteering Club (EUOC) started off the year well as they were hosting the event. In the Junior section FVO were leading in the Large club section with Loch Eck Orienteering Club (ECKO) leading the Small club section.
After the Compass Sport Cup/ Trophy heats and the Scottish Middle Championship, it was all change again with FVO and ESOC jumping over INT to take 1st and 2nd spot respectively in the Large club section and STAG leading the Small clubs section. In the Junior Section, for the Large clubs FVO retained the lead but with Inverness Orienteering Club (INVOC) and Moravian Orienteering Club (MOR) lying on 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the Small club Junior section, both Tayside Orienteering Club (TAY) and Ayrshire Orienteering Club (AYROC) had overtaken the ECKO juniors to take 1st and 2nd respectively.
