Penultimate Event of the Scottish Inter Club Championship for 2024

The Scottish Score Championships hosted by Interlopers Orienteering Club (INT) at Vogrie Country Park outside Edinburgh were the penultimate event of the 2024 Scottish Inter Club Championships. The last event of the 2024 season will be St Andrews Glasgow Orienteering Club (STAG) Tinto Twin Day Race being held on 24th November at Strathclyde Country Park near Motherwell (entries close this Monday -18th November).

With only one event to go it looks like Forth Valley Orienteers (FVO) will retain the Senior Large Club title ahead of Edinburgh Southern Orienteering Club (ESOC) with INT in third followed by the close northern rivalry of Inverness Orienteering Club (INVOC) in fourth with Moravian Orienteering Club (MOR) in 5th.

For the Senior Small Club title STAG are holding the lead ahead of Clydeside Orienteering Club (CLYDE) in second place and Tayside Orienteering Club (TAY) lie in third ahead of Edinburgh University Club (EUOC) in fourth whose clash at the weekend with their annual EUOC verus AROS football match not helping their claim.

For the Junior Large Club title, FVO look to have a convincing lead over the northern rivalry of MOR and INVOC with INT and ESOC lying in fourth and fifth respectively.

It remains all to play for however in the Junior Small Club title, where TAY lie only a few points ahead of Loch Eck Orienteering Club (ECKO) with Ayrshire Orienteering Club lying in third.
