More Selection Success for Scottish Juniors

Following the British Championships, Northern Championships and the JK, Scottish Juniors across a range of ages have been selected for international competition and a range of training camps. The performance of all the Scottish juniors at these events was fantastic with some very tough competition from juniors from the rest of the UK and Europe.  It was great to see the breadth of Scottish junior talent as well as the fun and friendship they gain from the sport.

JROS Summer Training Camps

Junior Regional Orienteering Squad (JROS) organises a range of summer camps for junior orienteers. JROS is the umbrella organisation for the 12 Regional Orienteering squads based on the British Orienteering Regions. It was set up to further develop the junior orienteering talent which is nurtured by the Regional Squads.  Each summer it arranges training camps  to provide  training opportunities and to enthuse the athletes with both a sense of fun & purpose by including a social aspect to build a supportive group identity.

The camp at Lagganlia is  for M/W 14s.  Congratulations to the following Scottish juniors who were selected to attend. The Scots will make up a third of the juniors on the camp and we know they will have a fantastic time.
