Junior Interareas 2024

The Junior Interarea weekend will take place on the 26/27th October. This is a weekend of interarea competition between the North, East and West Area. At the end of the weekend one of the areas will be crowned champions!

The relay will take place at Keppernach on the 26th, followed by the individuals at the Alvie Estate the following day. There will be an overnight stay, dinner and evening activities at Inverness Youth Hostel. There is plenty of space, so parents are encouraged to stay at the hostel.  Juniors working at TD2 level (yellow) and above can take part in the weekend. In the relay juniors on the yellow leg can go round in pairs. 

The individuals will run alongside the SOL meanwhile the relays will run alongside a local event- plenty of orienteering for parents as well! Entry for the individuals can be done through SI entries. Entry for the relays can be done by speaking to your club captain or your Interarea regional coordinator. 

The interarea weekend is a highlight in any junior orienteers calendar so make sure its in the diary!
