Extraordinary General Meeting being held on 14th September 2024

As notified at the Annual General Meeting held on 24th June this year, we will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 14th September 2024 at North Inch Community Campus, Perth at 10am.

The EGM Booklet will be published in the next few days with details of the resolutions and nominations for new Directors being brought forward.

Keith Dawson, the current SOA Chair, Richard Oxlade, the current SOA President and Ben Hartman, the current SOA Finance Director are all standing down following WOC 2024 and the completion of work evolving the next Scottish Orienteering Strategy.  We are therefore seeking nominees for the post of President, Chair, Finance Director, Operations Director, Communications and Marketing Director and Performance Director.  We currently have volunteers willing to stand for the posts of Finance Director, Communications and Marketing Director and Performance Director but should anyone else wish to throw their hat in the ring or indeed volunteer to act as President or Chair or Operations Director please feel free to contact our Chief Operating Officer Nikki Howard on nikki@scottish-orienteering.org

As part of the resolutions we are looking to amend the Articles of Association to permit the election of more than 2 Directors from any one club to reflect our current volunteers for posts.
