Adult Beginner Day Edinburgh

Looking to improve your navigation skills or try a new sport? Scottish Orienteering are organising an adult beginner day at Cammo Estate, Edinburgh on the Sunday 10th August. From the day you will gain the skills and confidence to navigate with a map. No prior knowledge required – just a sense of adventure. All physical activity at whatever level you choose. The day runs from 10-4 led by one of our experienced tutors. 

We’d encourage club members to share information about the adult beginner day with friends, family or colleagues. For Edinburgh club members, there will be flyers at sprintelope events over the next few weeks which can be shared with orienteering curious friends or placed in shops, leisure centres etc where people may notice them. 

First timers, new club members, those who have been around a few orienteering courses or have predominantly done urban orienteering through Orienteering Edinburgh would benefit from the beginners day.
