2026 Jan Kellstrom Festival Update

We are sure you are all well aware by now – and excited – that SOA is hosting the 2026 Jan Kjellstrom Festival in Perthshire over the Easter weekend, bringing orienteering back to some of Scotland’s very best terrain for the first time in over a decade.  

Things are shaping up for all four days of competition and we are delighted that entry numbers so far are looking good. Thank you to those of you who have already entered, please sign up your friends too!

If you have not yet entered then please be aware that the final closing date for entries is 15th March, make sure you don’t miss out! 

We also hope that you have heard by now from your club committee to let you know which day of JK weekend is the one where your club is being asked to help. (In case not then we are sure they will be in touch very soon, but please see the table below of club allocations). Please know that your volunteer help is very much appreciated, we are well aware that this is fundamental to the staging of the event and vital for making it a success.

The JK o-tops (designed by ScotJOS and raising funds for them) have been getting rave reviews for their design so please do take a look if you haven’t already bought one. There are still some in stock for collection at the JK itself, and the website is also taking orders for deliveries.
