SOA appoints a new Development Officer
The SOA Team was delighted to welcome Holly Stodgell as she started in the post of SOA Development Officer this week. Holly has joined the SOA team as a replacement for Louise Adams who left the post of Development Officer in July.
Holly is based in Stirling/Edinburgh and a member of Forth Valley Orienteers (FVO), having established the Stirling University Orienteering Club during her time at Stirling University. Holly will take the lead in liaising with our clubs in connection with development activities. Over the next few months she will be in touch with club committees to introduce herself and attending club events. To find out a bit more here is an introduction from Holly:

I have been involved with orienteering for as long as I can remember. I grew up as a member of Walton Chasers and the West Midlands and Welsh junior squads. Upon moving to university five years ago, I joined Forth Valley Orienteers and relaunched the orienteering club at Stirling University. I studied sport and exercise science at Stirling and then completed a master’s in sports journalism at Edinburgh Napier. Outside of orienteering I’m a Glasgow Warriors fan and I enjoy tap dancing. I’m looking forward to joining the SOA team!
