SUMMARY:Grade C Controllers Course
DESCRIPTION:This one day in-person course\, combining theory and practical\, gives you the skills and knowledge required to be eligible to apply to be a Grade C controller subject to approval and relevant experience. \nAs well as attending the course\, the requirements for obtaining the Grace C controller licence are: \n\n\nHave organised a competition registered with British Orienteering within the previous 10 years.\nHave planned a minimum of 3 events\, with at least one at Level C\, and at least one within the previous 5 years.\nCompletion of mandatory British Orienteering Event Safety & Welfare Workshop.\nBe appointed to the Grade by their Regional Association.\n\nThese can all be completed after the course but a good level of competence at control placement is required for the course.\n\nThe day will run from 10am to 4pm and will be in the Aviemore area. \nThe cost of this course is covered by the SOA. \nPlease book through the Google form or contact Suzanne for more details.
