ScotJOS Team Manager and Lead Coach Vacancies

Due to the retirement of Maureen Brown and Bill Stevenson Scottish Orienteering and Scotjos are looking for a new Squad Team Manager and Lead Coach.
Both roles are voluntary and involve working with the best Scottish Juniors to develop their orienteering skill set and gain representation for their country and GB. This is primarily achieved through training weekends at home and a two week camp abroad every second year.
Application date extended to Sunday 3rd October.

Both roles will be for a fixed term of 4 years.

Scottish Junior Squad Team Manager


Good organisational skills

An interest in junior development and performance

Willingness to work with children aged 12-18

A coaching qualification at UKCCL2 or BOF L3, or a willingness to work towards this

Squad Team Manager Job Description

Scottish Junior Squad Lead Coach


UKCC L2 or BOF L3 coaching qualification, plus current First Aid

Willingness to work with children aged 12-18

Understanding of the UK competition scene (and abroad)

Experience of planning at TD4/TD5 level

Experience of and an interest in design of training exercises, production of maps, session plans and risk assessments
