A fairly succesful run for me at night! I tried to keep the routes simple and get as close to the control in a most assured way as possible. ie keep it easy for the most of the leg as possible. I hesitated a lot out of five i wanted to go riht but knew left was quicker but didn't feel so confident running left. Anyway it turned out fine. Was getting tired from 7 and a little more hesitant in the circle, slowing down a litte more than I needed perhaps when it was generally just another 20m further - head up! Definitely worth going round the green and avoiding steep rocky bits if you could.
As for my pictures really good, i know at one I came in a little high because I hit the nose of the hill in the open i looked left and there was the boulder! Maybe lacking such good pictures of the circle near the end, 8 for example but 12 actually was good i wobbled on the compass a bit when i saw the knolls and knew I wanted to be running up the spur towards to control but as I approached the hill which 12 was on it all looked right and I knew that as I came round there would be a reentrant with a control in it. I am not sure why it was so good tonight, good training and visualisation in the morning, being in the moment not worrying about how long I took or anything else helped too.
Info from qrt. The first lap is from the where we started at the finish to the start kite. Some quite big differences straight line and route distance but I think mostly I chose pretty good routes.
