This embargo applies to all potential WOC 2022 team members and those with links to elite squads e.g. coaches, team leaders. These restrictions also apply to other orienteers who intentionally or unintentionally could provide an unfair advantage to competitors at WOC 2022 e.g. through publishing of routes and timings on Routegadget, Strava or similar. Edinburgh to host Sprint World Orienteering Championships 2022!

Scotland has a strong history of hosting the World Orienteering Championships having previously hosted the event three times over the last 40 years.
