SOUL 2013 scores so far

Results from the Erskine race now added to the SOUL league table

After 3 rounds

Notable performances so far include Ben Brown in M12- who only completed the last 2 events in 2012 but has taken 2 of 3 maximum scores so far in 2013. Current Men vet leaders Barry Veitch and Keith Roberts, might be looking over their shoulders at the group of athletes just behind them with 1 less scoring run, but a good run from either at Tweedbank on 1 Sept would be enough to maintain their lead. New WUV Sheila Strain looks set to take this category by storm this year, needing only a victory in Tweedbank to let her put her feet up for the rest of the season.

Last year's Pyrah family double looks unlikely to be repeated, but Amelia and Donald Petrie are having a good go at copying the feat this year. In the open categories, the leagues still look wide open. Last years WO winner Kirstin Maxwell looks strong again this year and leads after 3, but in the Men's 2012 winner Simon Gardner might need a repeat of his 3 race winning run to have any chance this year. Will Hensman currently holds the lead.

Dont forget the next SOUL is on 1 Sept at Tweedbank on a new area for most of us outwith RR.

Only 3 athletes have won both races, Murray Strain, Sheila Strain and Donald Petrie. Only Sheila is likely to be defending her 100%record at Erskine in SOUL 3 as Donald is planning and Murray is away on World Cup duty. 332 competitors have completed at least 1 SOUL race so far and its only race 2!
