Sunday 3rd June
Creag Choinnich Scottish Relay Championships, part of UK Relay League
Creag Choinnich is a very detailed pine plantation abutting Braemar. A scenic assembly area in fields adjacent to the village (using the Highland Games car parking) will offer great views and there will be exciting head-to-head racing. Again the map has been completely resurveyed.
Relay entry fees are £18.00 for junior/student teams (£6.00 per person) and £36.00 for adult teams (£12.00 per person).
Due to sheep in adjacent fields and ground nesting birds, dogs are permitted in car parks and assembly areas on leads only but not in any forests (including the training area at Inver) apart from MTBO at Scolty.
163 teams have entered so far - it's going to make for some really close racing as promised!
If you have any Relay Team entry queries, please contact the SRC Organisers via flump@care4free.net up until midnight Thursday 31st May. After that there will be a Relay Registration desk in the afternoon at the Individuals and obviously at Registration at the Relay event itself. We will be in touch with Team Captains shortly chasing up names and details as far as possible prior to the Jubilee Five weekend.

The 2015 World Orienteering Championships will be based in Inverness, Scotland during August, and will utilise the world class terrain along the Moray coast and in the Cairngorms National Park. The Scottish 6 Days will run in parallel to the Championships and will bring 5000 competitors to the area boosting the local economy by an estimated £2 million.
