The Scottish 6 Days and World Orienteering Champs (collectively known as Highland 2015) are finalists in the The Drum Scottish Event Awards on October 5th.

This issue features a variety of accounts from summer multi-day events in several different countries. Recent Scottish events are covered too, plus some major international competitions. There are also articles about the benefits of stretching, junior coaching, and an interview with Terry O'Brien. New Regional Development Officer Central / South appointed

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rona Lindsay as Regional Development Officer Central / South, starting on October 3rd.
Rona will be based out of Edinburgh, primarily working from sportscotland’s office at the Gyle Centre. She will work alongside Johannes Petersen who is changing into his new role as RDO North by the beginning of October.

Based on the classic walking route, the race is 29km with 2,400m of ascent. 287 people finished, with SEDS & GB athletes Hollie Orr second female, and Jess Tullie third.

19th September EDITED Updated league tables after SOL 5 are now available.  There may be some residual mistakes from the combination of SOL4 and the Scottish Championships this year, so please let me know if you spot errors. NOTE that age class points scores for some classes include Scottish Championships results that are not included in any of the colour coded course tables, so your score may differ between the two tables. Thanks to those who have spotted errors and omissions.

Scores arranged by COURSE or AGE CLASS are available (for some age classes there will be differences in points between the courses and age classes, on account of course/class combinations used for the Scottish Championships being different from the usual SOL
