Scottish Sprint Championships 2009
FVO attracted a large field to the 2008 Scottish Sprint Championships which finished in the shadow of Stirling Castle. The course, shared by all classes, used the streets, lanes, paths and open ground of Stirling Old Town.
An exciting afternoon, with a fantastic finish as the seeded runners came in towards the end of the afternoon, with a “photo finish” failing to split FVO’s Ross McLennan and Douglas Tullie from EUOC who both finished in just over18 minutes; while the Womens Open champion, also representing EUOC, was Becky Carlyle.
