Scottish Night Championships, 21 Feb 2009

Maroc are proud to welcome you to the Scottish Night Orienteering Championships at Birsemore, Aboyne.
There is also a District event at Bogendreip on Sunday and a training event at Scolty on Saturday as a warm up.
Anyone who has run at Birsemore in daylight (SOL 7 2007) will be aware of the technical challenge of this fine area and the Championships will be no walk in the park at night! It is a technical area with fine detail, on mixed terrain.
Championship classes apply. For those under 16 years an orange standard course is provided. Starts are from 18.00 – 19.30 hours.
There is also a District event at Bogendreip on Sunday and a training event at Scolty on Saturday as a warm up (please notify me if you wish to attend - 10 days before). So come and make a weekend of it on Royal Deeside.
Course lengths for the Night Champs are:
1 8.0km TD5
2 5.6km TD5
3 4.4km TD5
