Sasha Chepelin wins award
Gramp’s Sasha Chepelin has won the Aberdeen Sports Council Junior Boys Sports Award for 2008. A first year M12 in 2008, Sasha had an outstanding year representing Scotland in both the Junior Home International and Inter-Regional events, as well as winning both the British Championships and SOL series.
He’s made a pretty good start to 2009 as well, with wins in the British Sprint Champs, JK Sprint, both days of the JK individual and SOL1.
Sasha received his award at a presentation evening in Aberdeen on 18 April.
