Purple Thistle 2010, Balmacara, Kyle of Lochalsh

Entries close on August 2nd for the Purple Thistle 2010, taking place on the 14/15 August 2010. We already have over 100 entries, with a number of international visitors again attracted from as far afield as Spain, Switzerland and even Japan!

The weekend offers two days of quality orienteering on a brand new area, offering a chance to tackle some excellent technical terrain in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland, with fantastic views offered in all directions.

The whole event will be based in and around the small village of Balmacara Square, a few miles east of Kyle of Lochalsh, with both days races starting and finishing near to the campsite and parking.
