Orienteering ThrillSeeker Experience

The BBC along with British Orienteering have set up an opportunity for clubs to get promotion through the ThrillSeeker website with the possibility to appear on TV.

On 31st January 2010 the BBC launched a new campaign called ThrillSeeker which informs members of the public about adventure opportunities which they can take part in for the first time.

The ThrillSeeker registered activities will be open to all and will be heavily promoted on TV episodes of Countryfile that take place on BBC One each Sunday.

British Orienteering has agreed with the BBC to allow all British Orienteering affiliated clubs to pre-register any event they feel will cater for beginners on the “Orienteering ThrillSeeker Experience” database. These events will then get promotion on the ThrillSeeker website and Countryfile episodes.

If you are organising an event that is suitable for beginners and would like to get promotion on the BBC website and a possible plug on Countryfile please get in touch with Oleg Chepelin through the contacts page.
