On 29th December 2013 I will be running to my wedding, from Edinburgh to St Andrews. Cara and I are getting married in St Andrews, a mere 69 miles (or 2.5 marathons) away from Edinburgh, where we live. I have always wanted to run to my own wedding but I never envisaged that it would be quite this far. To make things a little harder I plan to complete the run in a single day and to make things even more tricky my stag do is the day before. So to help me on my chepic challenge and ensure I run every last step I am running not just to get to my wedding on time but also to raise money for a wonderful charity called Nature Nurture.

Nature Nurture uses an innovative approach to promote resilience and improve the life chances of vulnerable and disadvantaged children. The charity gives children the opportunity to play, explore, socialise with each other and experience happiness outdoors, away from the stresses and anxieties of daily life. At present Nature Nurture are only £15,000 away from their annual target. With your help I hope to hit that mark before the end of the year.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and the donations will be quickly processed and passed on to Nature Nurture. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

I really appreciate every penny that you are able to donate and thank you in advance for your kind support.
