MAROC member’s victory at World Schools
Congratulations to MAROC member and Banchory Academy pupil Rhona McMillan for her excellent win in the girls’ long distance event in the World Schools Championships being held in Madrid.
Rhona’s time of 39:39 gave her a convincing victory over the second-placed girl from Austria. Fellow Banchory Academy pupil and MAROC member Jessica Mason wasn’t far behind, in 4th place with a time of 43:39.
These results reflect the dedication and hard work from the athletes and from MAROC coaches Denise Wright and Trevor Ricketts.
