The Juniors from the North Area won the Inter Area Competition held in Inshriach North and South
1st North 133 Relay 68 + Indiv 65
2nd East 112 Relay 60 + Indiv 52
3rd West 79 Relay 32 + Indiv 47

Easily 100 juniors took part for their areas in the Junior Inter Area competition on Speyside, 75 in the relay and more on Sunday at the SOL in Inshriach.
A very strong North area team won the overall trophy closely followed by the East in second place and the West, missing a couple of their strongest runners away at the European Youth Orienteering Championships, in third.
60 of the juniors were able to stay overnight at Cairngorm Lodge YH and enjoyed an evening of good food and games.
The next JIA will take place in 2009 hosted by the East area.
