Events structure
Types of event; colour coded courses; age classes; major SOA events.
Types of event
From January 2011 there have been four levels of registered events: A, B, C and D. Level A events are the biggest and most important; level D events are the most local. These are described fully on the British Orienteering website.
Colour coded courses follow standards of technical difficulty and length.
Age classes are determined by your age at 31st December of the current year
