Controllers Training Course

Saturday 16th April

Would you like to spend a spring day in the Highlands to improve your orienteering technical knowledge and skills?  Come along to the Controllers Training Course on 16th April.  It will help you both as a course planner or event organiser, and it also provides the qualification needed for appointment as a Grade C controller.

This will be an enjoyable day of technical training, which will improve your skills as an orienteer in all aspects of event controlling, planning and organisation.  It includes a 2 hour practical forest exercise, and soup and sandwich lunch will be provided.

And if you're considering becoming a controller, then this will probably be the only Grade C course being run in Scotland this year.

The venue for the course will be in the village of Insh, near Kincraig, Highland.  You could make a weekend of it and run at Moravian's event at delightful Roseisle on Sunday 17th April.

There are limited places available.  If you're interested in joining the course, please contact Hilary Quick at the National Centre, Glenmore Lodge.
