CompassSport Cup & Trophy
The Scottish round of the CompassSport Cup and Trophy were held today on the North Pentland Hills and 11 clubs fought for the opportunity to take part in the national finals later in the year.
ESOC organised the event and even managed good weather and great views for almost all runners (but not for themselves setting up early in the morning). Despite this they won the Cup competition for large clubs.
The competition in the small clubs class was much closer. According to the provisional results, FVO have repeated last year’s win with 1253 points. CLYDE who didn’t compete last year, were second with 1170 points. In a close fight for the last place in the final, TAY with 1154 points got revenge for last year beating RR by 7 points.
