The programme was broadcast on Sunday 15th and Sunday 22nd November at 7:05am; it is available to watch for 28 days after broadcast Chasing Perfection on the Channel 4 website

You will be able to learn a lot from watching the programmes - as an elite athlete or as a participation orienteer; the programmes are backed up by a wealth of material on the OU website, including the videos of the interviews with champions (Chris Hoy, Ronnie O’Sullivan, AP McCoy to name a few) and some of those behind the champions (Dave Brailsford, Steve Peters)

Over the two episodes Michael will meet some of the best athletes and talk to leading high performance experts and sports scientists to look at some of the unique factors that takes this vast population of the globe and from it forms a tiny band of athletes who have what it takes to perform at the highest level.
