Allean Knoll Kollecting

The biennial event at Allean was changed from a Boulder Bonanza to a Knoll Kollection to fit in better with SI but the reduced number of sites still provided a challenge of navigation and, paticularly, of route choice.

Although there was still snow in the ground and ice on the tracks the weather was very kind as the thaw began to set in and the temperatures incredibly mild.
Congratulations to the winner, Robin Orr, and also to Tim Gommersal, Hazel Dean and Rupert Parkinson who visited all thirty knolls within the time limit.
