To inform a decision about the SOL scoring system for 2009, the 2008 scores have been re-calculated using a possible alternative system.

Stay Safe and Have Fun poster

Orienteering clubs can now download an A3 poster which can be placed on notice boards to inform parents, children and young people, club members and the public about their commitment to child protection.

ELO’s Festive Frolic

On 28th December, Vogrie Country Park was the venue for Domin-O where runners not only had to navigate to the control, but had to hope that it was one they could add to their sequence of Dominoes.

Consultation on forestry provisions in the Scottish Climate Change Bill

The SOA will be responding to the above consultation paper, specifically in connection with the Scottish Government’s proposal to lease 25% of Scotland’s most productive forests to private management for 75 years, and clubs and individual members of SOA are invited to contribute to this response.
