The Veterans Home International in 2012 is much earlier in the year than normal. The Irish are hosting it over the weekend of 16th and 17th June. The team will therefore be selected in mid April, based on results from major spring events, and other relevant form.

In 2012 the Veterans Home International will be held in Ireland, possibly in the area of the Mountains of Mourne.
The date is earlier than usual - the event will be held the weekend of 16th and 17th June 2012.

The VHI this year was held in Deeside, Scotland, 8-9th October. The individual race was at Birsemore Hill and the Relays at Coull.

The VHI took place in the Gower peninsula on 2nd and 3rd October. In a closely fought Individual race at Whiteford Burrows, England pipped Scotland by 7 points (136 to 129) with Wales in third place and Ireland fourth. Scotland had four class winners.

The Scottish team won the Veterans’ Home Internationals held in Northern Ireland over the weekend 4&5 October.
The individuals finished with Scotland 4 points ahead of England and after an exciting conclusion to the relays the final scores were Scotland 269 England 267.
