Edinburgh University would like to welcome you to their Big Weekend 2012. This year followed in the footsteps of the previous Big Weekends success. A city race on Saturday, a Ceilidh celebrating Burn’s night on Saturday night and finishing with an event on Arthur’s Seat on Sunday.

After some very exciting relay racing on a wooded hillside south of Biggar, the scores for each area were identical leaving everything to compete for in the individual event.

Ther results of the individual are included in the Tinto Twin Day event.
After the points were worked out, 3rd were East (97), 2nd were North (111) and the Winners were West (120).

ESOC welcomed you to a rare opportunity to orienteer on Barry Buddon ranges at Carnoustie - used for the 6 Days in 2009 and only available a few times a decade due to MOD and environmental considerations.

The VHI this year was held in Deeside, Scotland, 8-9th October. The individual race was at Birsemore Hill and the Relays at Coull.

Grampian Orienteering Club invited you to SOL 6 at Glen Dye, near Banchory, Aberdeenshire, the scene of the Scottish Championships in 2006 and of day 6 of the Scottish 6 Days 2005.

MAROC juniors retained the Jamie Stevenson Trophy, the Scottish junior inter-club competition, making it four in a row. This year’s event was held on Sunday 19th June in Tentsmuir North with over 150 Juniors from all over the country attempting to score points for their club.
