New SOA Secretary, Kate RobertsonAfter a short break from Board responsibilities, Kate Robertson is to return to the SOA Board in the position of Secretary. Kate recently completed a two year stint as Marketing and Communications Director, and was very keen to return as Secretary.

AGM 2009The SOA Annual General Meeting will be held at Glenmore Lodge (PH22 1QU) at 19:00 on Saturday 23rd May (i.e. after the Scottish Individual Championships).
You should have received your AGM booklet with the recent issue of Score, which details two new director nominations; Oleg Chepelin (Marketing & Communications) and Roger Scrutton (Development). Extra copies of these will be available on the night.

Pathways Into Sport InquiryThe SOA were contacted in October as the Health and Sport Committee (Scottish Parliament) launched the second phase of its inquiry into pathways into sport. The Committee is concerned that the number of Scots participating in sport is declining, and targets for young people’s participation are not being met.
