Clyde are organising this at Muirshiel Country Park nr. Lochwinnoch.
This is a new map, mixed woodland and paths around the Visitors Centre surrounded by open moorland with some areas of intricate contour detail.

Urban Orienteering on BBC Radio Scotland

SOA Professional Officer has just been interviewed by Mark Stephen for the BBC Scotland Radio show, Out of Doors. They wanted to know more about Urban Orienteering and where it fits in. The programme goes out on Saturday morning 6:30 - 8:00am and is repeated on Sunday at 11:05am, but will also be available on the BBC iPlayer.

Scottish Sprint Championships 2012

Two races; cumulative time for both races to count. Four courses on both races with age classes assigned to a course.  Terrain:  University of St Andrews; science campus, halls of residence, sports pitches, arboretum and observatory. Courses on flat tarmac or mown grass - very fast in all conditions.

St Andrews Street Race, 04th Mar (SOUL 2)

Terrain. St Andrews; old town, housing estates, ancient University quads, new science campus and St Leonards School. Generally flat. Quiet on a Sunday in winter - very fast in all conditions.
Online entry at Fabian4 until Feb 26th, Limited EOD depending on map availability.
