Changes to Disclosure Application Process

After the completion of the DAAS pilot project in association with Children 1st and sportscotland we are now reverting back to the ‘old’ system of disclosure application.

Orienteering clubs can now download an A3 poster which can be placed on notice boards to inform parents, children and young people, club members and the public about their commitment to child protection.

Sportscotland and Children 1st need your help! They have commissioned the Sport Industry Research Centre at Sheffield University to explore the opinions of club members, parents and volunteers towards child protection legislation and disclosure checking.
