Scott Fraser leads the way in Portugal

After winning the third stage of the early season Portugal O-Meet, Scott Fraser has a slender lead over a world class field.

Scott beat established names such as Emil Wingstedt, Daniel Hubmann and Fabian Hertner to win the third day’s long distance race. Scott covered the 15km course in under 75minutes - an average speed of less than 5 minutes per kilometre! The win gives him a 3 point lead over last years bronze medalist in the World Orienteering Championships, Mikhail Mamleev of Italy, going into today’s (Tuesday) final race, a 7.8km middle distance challenge.

Scott is joined at POM by other SEDS members, Doug Tullie, Ant Squire, Mark Nixon and Oleg Chepelin.
