Tay 2009 began about four years ago for me when I became the 6 Day Company Director link with the Central Organising Team (COT). Then in March 2008 I was appointed as the Senior Controller for Day 6 – Loch Ordie.

The Scottish Junior Inter-area Championships consists of a relay event and an individual event between the East, North and West areas of Scotland. This year the relay event was held on 6 June 2009 at Vogrie and the individual event was held in conjunction with SOL3 at Teviothead. The overall weekend was organised by the East area and overnight accommodation was arranged at Melrose Youth Hostel. Around 70 juniors took part in the competition
