What is Orienteering?

Orienteering is a sport that combines map reading and running. Competitors have to find their way between a series of checkpoints, called controls, as quickly as possible. There’s no set route between the controls, so you have to decide which way to go and then find your way there without getting lost.

Great performances from Scottish Schools team
The Scottish Schools Orienteering team headed for sunny Turkey on the 17th April to take part in the week long ISF World Schools Orienteering Championships. This was the largest Scotland team to travel overseas for the biennial event with 32 pupils travelling in total.
