The organisers have had a copy of each days map and a selection of photographs taken that day and had them framed. These will be presented to the landowners as a thank you for their support of the event. You can see how they look.

Trail-O results

After consultation between the planner and the controller today, the decision has been made to void a couple of controls on the Day 3 TrailO course at Dunkeld which appear to have been re-arranged or vandalised by youths during the course of the event. This does affect some places, but Declan McGrellis remains the overall winner.

At the relays there was a problem with control 181 that affected 45 people, so their split time has been manually inserted at 1 minute after the previous control.

There was some test tracking done on selected Elites on Day 3, this is not perfect but better than nothing.

Lost property

There are numerous things that have been collected together and are at the National Orienteering Centre at Glenmore Lodge. Notable items include a watch and mobile phone. If you have lost something please send an email to natcen@scottish-orienteering.org detailing the item.

The TrailO competitions at JK 2012 have been timed so that people can walk round the course on their way back to Pitlochry after their FootO courses.
More information has been added for those new to TrailO.

Livingston - Sprint Race

Friday 6th April

Livingston New Town is designed with separate pedestrian and traffic network, with some 600 km of tracks, underpasses and numerous small areas of runnable woodland. This makes it probably the finest technical urban orienteering destination in Britain.

A novice course is available on the day for people wanting to try the sport, all other courses required pre-entry.
Registration will be open from 11:30 and entry fees are £5 for adults and £3 for teenagers.

Tiso support the JK

Tiso’s (conveniently located at the end of the Perth bypass) are offering 10% off full-price products on presentation of a JK Programme (or other evidence of entry), they are also providing £90 of prizes in vouchers for the relay.
£10 Tiso vouchers for each member of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ad hoc relay teams, and free carrier bags for relay maps on day 4.
