South of Scotland League, event 5
The sun shone again on the runners who went to the sea-side for the fifth race in the South of Scotland Orienteering League held at the John Muir Country Park.
There were some very fast runs through the forest and over the dunes. David Godfree won the Brown course in under 5min/km and the white course was won in better than 10min/km.
The final event of the series is at Dalkeith Park on 9th March and with the best 4 out of 6 events to count for the overall league, most classes are still wide open.
