ESOC and SOA newsletters win awards
The ESOC newsletter Capital-O has been awarded one of the nine CompassSport Club Newsletter awards for 2007, and SOA magazine Score has won the Regional Newsletter award.
According to CompassSport editor Nick Barrable, the awards were decided on the newsletter content rather than glossy print and colour, with communication with members a key factor. It’s good to see the importance of newsletters, which still have a distinct role to play when so much information is spread by websites, recognised in this way.
