Awards for orienteering were made to Jessica Orr (CLYDE) and Alan Cherry (INT).
Fields in Trust (FIT) Scotland, formerly the National Playing Fields Association, is the nation’s only charity dedicated to protecting and improving outdoor spaces for sport, recreation and play.

Scotjos held their annual Development Weekend on March 7/8. Over 50 juniors took part along with 18 coaches. Saturday’s training took place at Devilla and Sunday’s at Stirling Old Town followed by Touch Estate. The juniors have to be commended on working hard and without complaint (mostly) in spite of the cold, blustery weather.

Scottish Junior Orienteering Squad – Membership Selection PolicyCoaching junior orienteers in Scotland is an activity that is organised at different levels – at club level, at area level and at national level. The Scottish Junior Orienteering Squad is at the top of that structure.

These were held on Ainsdale Dunes in Lancashire, 20/21 September. Scotland won the Individual event in a very close competition, beating England by just 2 points. Results on the Meroc website.

Jamie Stevenson Trophy
Congratulations to MAROC on winning the Trophy with a score of 598 points out of a possible 600. Second were Gramp 587 and third FVO 584.
