The SOA has five sets of clocks that can be used at race starts or finish to show race time. These clocks are designed to be a “Turn on and Go” system for an event start.

Materials are now available for the Junior Incentive Scheme announced in June.  Documents can be downloaded or obtained as hardcopy from the National Centre;  folders are available on request from the National Centre.  Some documents are intended for editing by clubs - please read instructions!

Help Needed - Trophies and Certificates Coordinator

SOA are looking for a volunteer to manage the SOA Trophies and Certificates.  These include the Scottish Orienteering Championship Individual and Relays,  the 11-person Relay, Night, Sprint and Score Championship awards.

BOC 09 -  Change of date

Anyone booking accommodation or transport for next year’s British Championships in the New Forest should note that the event has had to be moved from the published mid-March date to February 28th / March 1st.

Heart Screening for Young Athletes

The Cardiac Assessment in Young Athletes (CAYA) pilot programme will offer cardiovascular screening on a voluntary basis to young Scots over the age of 16 who take part in any organised amateur sports.
