Purple Thistle, Oban, Aug 23/24215 people have entered so far. What is surprising is the number of entries from outside Scotland and the noticeable absence of a lot of regular SOL participants.
Perhaps they haven’t realized that there is an opportunity to orienteer on 2 high quality areas in one weekend. Creag Mhic already has a reputation and I’m sure that Kerrera will have one after this weekend.
This also promises to be a great social weekend, with a commercial campsite being the base for the event. So help out your fellow orienteers and pass the word.
