National Centre course schedule

DATE CHANGE:  due to limited availability of a key tutor, the “Computing for Orienteering” workshop will now run one week later than originally intended, ie. 12-13 July.

Please note:  the decision on whether to go ahead with the course or cancel it is usually made 2 weeks before the course is due to start.  We usually need at least 4 bookings to make a course viable.  Please ensure you book in good time.

THE place to train

Providing the best terrain, maps and support possible for all your training, course and event needs, the National Orienteering Centre.

National Centre office hours

As you'd expect with a small office dedicated to orienteering, we don't spend a lot of time actually in the office. There's usually someone there for a while on Tuesdays and Thursdays, other days as well but less predictably. We respond as promptly as possible to e-mails and to messages left at the office or on the mobile number you'll get if you call the office when no-one's there.

Map of the month

Every month there are two areas that have controls hung in the forest that can be used for training.

Each map pack comprises a pre-printed map (on Pretex), control descriptions (pictorial) and an information sheet. More details...

Club/Squad Training

If you or your club would like to go training or you have aclub weekend away coming up, why not get in touch and have your own tailor-made training break.
