Although these training opportunities are aimed at students, everyone is welcome.  Controls will be out in all 5 areas at least until 18 October - some beyond that.  If you don’t manage to get to all of the areas this time round, the same control sites will be used from 28 December 2008 to 15 January 2009 (weather permitting!).

Packs are available for purchase from Reception at Glenmore Lodge, but to avoid disappointment – particularly if there are more than about 10 of you – please order yours in advance.  And if you’d like some coaching, please let us know when you’re coming.

Achlean - important note:  For some obscure reason the people who put out controls in Achlean for me decided to pay no heed to the numbers.  Unfortunately I only discovered this on 4th October; it significantly detracts from the benefit of the setup I’d planned, and certainly caused one group big problems and major loss of confidence.  If you’ve been there and found the numbers jumbled, that’s the explanation and on behalf of the putters-out, I’d like to apologise.
