Membership Information

The SOA is a constituent association of the British Orienteering Federation. To join the SOA you just join British Orienteering, at either Local or
National level.
Depending on how much orienteering you are planning to do would determine which level you should choose. To help you decide which type of membership would suit you, here are details of some of the benefits each of the levels provide:

Materials for Junior Incentive Scheme

Materials are now available for the Junior Incentive Scheme announced in 2008, some updated as required in early 2009.  Documents include descriptions of badges and awards, meanings of control descriptions and what to expect at an event.  The documents can be downloaded or obtained as hardcopy from the National Centre;  folders are available on request from the National Centre.  Some documents are intended for editing by clubs - please read instructions!
